Product Design Engineer (2 Positions)

ABOUT THE JOB

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Applicants must be passionate about engineering, outgoing, bright and enthusiastic. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • PLANNING AND ORGANISING - Strong organisational and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to methodically plan and prioritise workload efficiently and effectively to maximise results through measurable plans.
  • STRONG IT SKILLS - I.T. literate with strong working knowledge of M/S Office suite as a minimum requirement.
  • COLLABORATIVE - A strong team player with the ability to work in close collaboration with various stakeholders such as colleagues/external partners and or customers in order to achieve goals.
  • Good commercial awareness.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The company is looking for two Product Development Engineers to design and contribute to the design of new products or modifications of existing products to required standards of operability, reliability, innovativeness and cost as directed by the Product Development Programmes.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Degree level qualification or above in Engineering OR HNC level or above in an Engineering discipline along with equivalent experience of design & development of both new & existing products.
  • Experience of design using 2D/3D CAD.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Design experience with Electronics and Control Systems along with experience in designing plastic products would be advantageous

The successful candidate will assist in executing the company Business Plan working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the company in achieving stretching commercial goals. They will be part of a small close knit team, and will be required to collaborate with the marketing and new product development teams to successfully launch and promote new and existing product ranges.

Temporary Production Operators

Ref Number: PO/04/17

Hours of Work: Full Time

Assembly of plastic and metal components in the manufacture and test of pumps, taps, heaters and other water system products for use in Caravans/Boats/Shower Drainage & the Commercial market-place.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, who takes pride in producing high quality work, is dependable and can work using their own initiative. Although not necessary, those with experience in a manufacturing environment may be given preference. Full training will be provided for each role.

Although these vacancies are temporary (approx. 3 months), there is the possibility that they may lead to permanent positions.

The company provides a Personal Pension Scheme, Death in Service Benefit, Company Sick Pay Scheme, 33 days holidays per annum (including statutory) and flexible working.
