Marketing Executive (12 months Maternity Cover)

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who is keen further develop their marketing skills through working on multi-channel marketing campaigns, across many aspects the marketing mix promoting innovative high-quality products in international markets.


Applicants must be passionate about marketing, outgoing and enthusiastic. We are looking for an experienced marketing executive, ideally with some working knowledge of product marketing. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Excellent written and verbal communication/ presentation and strong interpersonal/negotiation skills.
  • PLANNING AND ORGANISING - Strong organisational and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to methodically plan and prioritise workload efficiently and effectively to maximise results through measureable plans.
  • STRONG IT SKILLS - IT literate with strong working knowledge of MS Office suite as a minimum requirement. Experience in social media marketing may be an advantage.
  • COLLABORATIVE - A strong team player with evidence of close collaboration with various stakeholders such as colleagues/external partners and/or customers in order to achieve goals.
  • Good commercial awareness.


The successful candidate will execute company marketing campaigns and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the company in achieving stretching commercial goals. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with implementing marketing campaigns through multiple channels including events, digital marketing including social media content management, web updating and e-newsletter campaigns, email; display advertising, and printed promotional literature. They will be part of a small close-knit team and will be required to collaborate with commercial and new product development teams to successfully launch and promote new and existing product ranges.

  • A key aspect of the role is international event management where the successful candidate will be required to ensure excellent presentation of the company at key industry events and trade exhibitions.
  • Successfully liaising with marketing partners such as web developers, graphic designers, printers, advertising executives and trade show organisers is critical in delivering multi-channel marketing plans.
  • Producing and proofreading copy to create press releases, promotional literature, and instruction booklets is another important part of the role as well as maximizing editorial presence for the company.
  • Strong evaluation and reporting on performance of marketing campaigns is required.

  • A degree level qualification in marketing or a related business discipline.


  • Preference may be given to candidates with 2 years or more of proven relevant marketing experience.
  • Proven experience of training in design software packages such as Adobe Illustrator may be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in delivering digital marketing/social media marketing plans and/or event management may be an advantage.
  • Additional marketing qualifications such as a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification.
  • Preference may be given to those with a 2:1 or above Degree Classification.
